REMOVAL
CAUTION
Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened
component life.
Use care not to damage crankshaft flange when removing seal.

Drill three evenly spaced pilot holes in crankshaft
front seal (1).

Using slide hammer, alternate between drilled holes to
remove crankshaft front seal (1) from engine (2). Dis-
card seal.
