ELEVATOR LOWER SHAFT

Install bearing in the inside of roller (3) with tooling
(A).

Turn the roller over. Install bearing in the outside of
roller (3) with tooling (B).
6.
Do Steps 4 and 5 to the roller on the other side.
7.
Install both rollers as shown. Make sure the rollers are
installed all of the way on the shaft.
8.
Measure the distance between the center of the outside
diameter of both rollers. Subtract the distance between the rollers
from 47.00 inches (119.4 cm) to find the correct width of washers
(shims). Divide the washers (shims) in half.
9.
Remove the rollers again. Install half the washers
(shims) (4) in each end of the housing.
