TM 5-3805-260-24ELEVATOR LOWER SHAFT4.Install bearing in the inside of roller (3) with tooling (A).5.Turn the roller over. Install bearing in the outside ofroller (3) with tooling (B).6.Do Steps 4 and 5 to the roller on the other side.7.Install both rollers as shown. Make sure the rollers areinstalled all of the way on the shaft.8.Measure the distance between the center of the outsidediameter of both rollers. Subtract the distance between the rollersfrom 47.00 inches (119.4 cm) to find the correct width of washers(shims). Divide the washers (shims) in half.9.Remove the rollers again. Install half the washers(shims) (4) in each end of the housing.4-153
